Document the bed before you lift it

The bed hides tanks, lines, and wiring. Lift it too early and you lose the map.

Photograph and note:

Every bed-to-frame mount

Tail light wiring and how it is clipped

Fuel fillers and which tank they feed

Fuel lines along the frame

Rear frame, crossmember, and bumper brackets

Make a hardware bag for bed mounts before the first bolt comes out.
